MEWP Operator Training - 1 Day
Konecranes Training Institute is excited to announce its partnership with the International Powered Access Federation to provide the best worldwide recognized training in Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Formally known as Aerial Work Platform (AWP) operation. The IPAF training program was developed by leading industry professionals and it meets or exceeds OSHA requirements and ANSI/CSA standards. It is certified by TÜV as conforming to the international standard ISO 18878 Mobile elevating workplatforms – Operator (driver) training.

This one-day training will enable students to receive their PAL card. The PAL Card (Powered Access Licensed-Registration) is recognized worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard. It is issued by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) to platform operators who successfully complete a training course at an IPAF-approved training center,and valid for 5 years. Konecranes training Institute will be offering training on type 3a (scissor lifts), and 3b (boom lifts) equipment. Please contact us regarding training on other types of equipment.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Overhead cranes and MEWPs often go hand in hand. Anyone that has the need to use a piece of equipment to work at height needs to have training. Additionally, according to ANSI A92.24,all managers of workers using MEWPs need to be trained as well.
