Usually if you can train more people your return on investment will be better. On-Site crane training has advantages of a lower cost per student and the course can be tailored to the specific cranes and hoists at the facility. Our regularly scheduled courses will utilize our Lab equipment for the hands-on portion.
Many of our customers find our Overhead Crane Inspection Course very helpful. You have taken a good step in that direction with this class and testing. We recommend that individuals who perform crane inspections ensure that they not only know the regulations including OSHA 1910.179; ASME B30.2 and CMAA #70, but also have hands-on experience doing crane inspections. Further, we do recommend that once a year every facility has an outside expert take a look at their critical cranes.
